Illuminate 2025 – Immerse Winter Lights at the Gardens

An outdoor winter enchanted lights display within the Gardens. Colourful lights transform and illuminate the Subtropical 18th century Gardens. With a new route comes a new perspective on the planting and features in the Gardens. Colours, textures, and shapes create a magical event that can be enjoyed with family and friends. The perfect Christmas and winter walk to brighten up the cold season and prepare for the festive celebrations.

NEW FOR 2025: Immerse light arch, 2 light shows, and raindrop parade. Please read: If the forecast indicates bad weather please check our social media on the day. High winds may result in an event evening being cancelled. Visitors will be offered a chance to move to another date or receive a refund. 

There are two disabled routes: one that includes more of the Illuminate trail and will take approximately 1 hour in a manual wheelchair and a second that is a shorter disabled route approximately 40 minutes. If you are a wheelchair user, we recommend you bring an all-terrain, wide-based wheelchair for access around the wheelchair and mobility vehicle route.

Car parking is FREE and prices have been held from 2024. The Café and Gift Shop are open, with a Christmas Shop full of decorations and gift ideas. See our Café page for the tasty treats and warming drinks available on Illuminate nights.
